Burlingame Lions Club (BLC) supports local youth and community activities. BLC has strengthened communities through humanitarian projects and hands-on service. Humanitarian projects include free vision screening for children, eye glass recycling, and help with local food banks and homeless shelters.
BLC supports youth activities like the Burlingame Lions High School Basketball Tournament, Burlingame Library Summer Reading Program, Large Print Book Collection, Lions Easter Egg Hunt, Lions Student Speaker Contest, Burlingame Lions Spelling Bee, camps for children, nursing scholarships, and student scholarships to name a few of the activities our members are engaged in.
Mission is to preserve and restore the gift of sight by providing free ophthalmic examinations, operations, and medication to the less fortunate members of our community.
